Cristal Essentiel Package
Gives you access to basic banking services. You get an individual account, a Visa Classic card, a digital safe, access to remote banking, an overdraft facility and a dedicated advisor. This package costs €6.90 per month if you are over 28 years old, €3 per month if you are between 25 and 28 years old, and €1 per month for young people between 12 and 24 years old.
With a bank card with quasi-systematic authorization, you can withdraw money for free 3 times a month from ATMs of other banks in France. After that, you will be charged €1 for each transaction. The maximum amount you can withdraw within 7 days is €600 abroad and €1,500 in the eurozone. The payment limit is €2,300 per month.
Cristal Comfort Package
In addition to basic banking products and services, you can get a Visa Classic card for €10.20 per month or a Visa Premier card for €15.35 per month. With this package, withdrawals in France from other ATMs are free and unlimited. The card allows you to withdraw up to €1,500 per 7 days abroad and up to €3,000 in the eurozone. The payment limit is €3800 for a rolling 30-day period.
Cristal Premium Package
The top-of-the-line package among Cristal. It offers a more comprehensive set of services, including access to all the bank's prestigious cards (Visa Premier, Platinum and Infinite). Monthly fees start from €20.50 for the Visa Premier card, from €26.70 for the Visa Platinum card and from €37 for the Visa Infinite card.
Banque Populaire exclusive offers
Family Package
Banque Populaire offers a "Family Package" which entitles you to 4 bank accounts (3 for parents and 1 for children) and a bank card for each member of your family. You will be provided with a dedicated counsellor as well as a client area in the mobile app. The overdraft facility is only available to adults.
You can tailor the Family package to the level of service you require, as it is available in three versions (Essentiel, Comfort and Premium). The Essentiel version provides access to basic banking services, while the Comfort version provides access to additional services. If you choose the Premium version, you will have access to top class comprehensive services. The cost of the package depends on the selected category. Monthly fees start at €12.90 for the Essentiel version, €15.35 for the Comfort version and €28.75 for the Premium version.
For parents and adult children, the Visa cards that will be linked to the accounts also depend on the category selected. However, your minor children will only be entitled to a Visa Classic card with almost automatic authorisation.
Cristal Duo package
The Cristal package is also available on a joint account called the Forfait Cristal Duo. It is for adult couples only and includes an additional card for the second account holder and basic banking services. These include remote banking, account management, a dedicated counsellor and a digital safe deposit box for one person.
Like the other packages, this package comes in Essentiel, Comfort and Premium versions, the prices of which also depend on the level selected. The Essentiel version costs €8.90 per month. The Comfort version costs between €13.30 and €19.50 and the Premium version costs between €25.70 and €46.25.
Cristal Jeune package
Banque Populaire also offers young people aged 18 to 28 the Forfait Cristal Jeune package. It allows you to use the bank's basic products and services for just €1 per month. You get a personal account, a digital safe, a secure private internet space and an overdraft facility. What's more, this package is completely free until your 29th birthday if your parents own the family package.
